New Race Bike and Kit

It was the Asfra Racing team's presentation last Sunday where both the 2018 kit and bikes were on display.

For 2018 the traditional team colour of red has been replaced, partially, by green. The new colours really make the bikes stand out from the crowd. The bikes are equipped with full Ultegra R8000 and finished of with Flanders own brand stem, bars and seatpost.

The frame is new for 2018 and is the Flanders RX01. An all round race bike that is tough enough to handle anything thrown at it. This makes it perfect for the races I'll be doing out in Belgium this season.

The kit, designed by NIcoSport, still holds some of the traditional red of Asfra but also bears a more fluorescent green across the chest and on the arms. For years now NicoSport have always delivered high quality kit to many Belgian teams and this one is no exception.

I am very much looking forward to using the new kit and equipment and getting stuck in to some racing!
